We believe and promote

Believe in equality.
Promote disability as beauty.
Promote social tolerance to human difference.
Contest the ideals and dominations of normalcy.
Disability is about politics, its about unequal power relations of the disabled and non-disabled people.
Disability is about a cultural conflict between two groups of people: the non-disabled majority and minority disability groups.
but
this society has to be a shared place...with the principles of equality and human diversity.

Disability Bangladesh

Disability Bangladesh
Logo represents diversity as beauty, it contests the concept of normality per se

Disability Bangladesh

Disability Bangladesh aims to facilitate a paradigm shift from an all-pervading welfare and charity backed by clinical ideology of disability towards a human rights-based approach.
We promote the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
We believe persons with disabilities are part of human diversity, their physical, mental, intellectual, sensory or any other kind of otherness is part of beauty of this human family.
Join us to celebrate human difference as the strength, as potential and as beauty.
Join hands to strengthen the movement of persons with disabilities for their equal rights and dignity everywhere.
Join the global movement to end discrimination, exclusion, exploitation in the lives of persons with disabilities and their families on the basis of disability.
